Roseann N. Ward

WARD: Roseann N. Ward, 75 of Waterford, entered eternal life on May 21, 2025, in New Haven. She was born Jan. 20, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Rose (Walling) Giuliano. Roseann was united in marriage on June 28, 1980, to Thomas Ward. Roseann was a devout Roman Catholic, a communicant of St. Paul Parish and served as Director of Religious Education for over 35 years. She was an active member in the community and Catholic Charities, volunteering at many events like the annual golf tournament.  Besides her beloved husband Tom of nearly 45 years, Roseann is survived by seven children, Patricia Ward, Rosemary Taub, Kathleen Tonucci, Susan Tonucci, Stephanie McNeil, Deborah Buck, Robert Ward, 15 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her siblings Francis Anapo and Anna Longton. Family and friends can gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday (May 27) at 11 am in St. Paul Church, 170 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford. Interment will be private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
