Robert W. Montovani

Waterford - Robert W. Montovani, C.P.A., of Waterford and formerly East Hartford, passed away May 12, 2026, surrounded by family.
A U.S. Navy veteran and graduate of CCSU, he was a founding member of MMNT LLC in Manchester. Robert was devoted to community service, volunteering with the YMCA, East Hartford Community Health, the Bank of South Windsor Advisory Board, and Main Street Plus, and he enjoyed coaching youth soccer.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; his children, Neil (Tara), Christine (Angel Ayala) and Jon (Mary); and grandchildren: Christopher, Damian, Gianna, Bridget, Grace, Sean, Dean and Max. He also leaves his brothers, Edward and Richard; and brothers-in-law, Stafford Chappell and Ronald Sachatello.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. May 18, at St. Paul Church, Waterford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
