Rebecca Neigel Obituary

Groton - Rebecca Jo Neigel, 83, of Groton, entered eternal life July 7, 2025, peacefully at home. She was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Pelzer, S.C., the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Wellborn) Pollard.

She is survived by her children: Glen and Sharon Neigel, Tommy and Amy Neigel, Brenda Carter, Susan and John Kelly; and daughter-in-law Lynda Neigel; a sister, Susan Sartor; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two children, Larry Neigel and Donna Neigel.

Funeral services are private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care.
