Patricia May Silva

SILVA: Patricia May Silva, 90 of Waterford, entered eternal life on Jan. 6, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Silva.  She was born May 13, 1935, in New London the daughter of the late Zigmond and Agnes (Garvey) Smolenski. Mrs. Silva was the former owner of Silva Package Store in Waterford with her late husband. She is survived by her two children, John Silva and Jill Silva both of Waterford. Three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by four siblings, John, Agnes, Helen and Barbara Smolenski. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, New London. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New London.
