Michael Dino

New London - Dino Michaels, 80, of New London, passed away peacefully in his sleep April 19, 2025. Born April 5, 1945, Dino was the first child of John Michael and Mersina (Kelo) Michael. He is survived by his sister Yvonne Michaels; his brother James Michaels; his nephew Dino Papadopoulos; and his niece Christie Michaels.

Dino graduated from Connecticut College, worked in the local school systems, and is known throughout the community for his love of German Shepherds, local food establishments, and the local beaches; and his ability to tease both family and strangers alike. No matter the topic or person, Dino will be remembered as a gentle giant, a free-spirit.

Private services were held for the family. Donations can be made to the Ct. Humane Society in Dino's memory.
