Marie Blanche Grasso

GRASSO :Marie Blanche Grasso, 83, of Waterford and formerly of New London, entered eternal life on April 25, 2026. She was born Oct. 28, 1946, in Norwich the daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Roy) Aquitante. She graduated from St. Mary Catholic School in New London and later form New London High School. She was united in marriage to Anthony Grasso, Sr. on Feb. 16, 1963, in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Anthony predeceased her in 1974. She worked for Waterford Pizza and later at Supreme Pizza for many years. The Matsas family were friends and like family to her. She is survived by her sons, Anthony J. and wife Victoria Grasso, Jr. of WA and David E. Grasso of Gales Ferry. Two granddaughters, Annabella and Valeria Grasso. Her siblings, Angeline Ruggieri, Joseph and James Aquitante. She was predeceased by her son Paul T. Grasso. Family and friends may gather for a Mass of Christian of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 am in St. Joseph Church, 149 Montauk Ave., New London. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care.
