John E. Weigel Jr.

New London - John E. Weigel Jr., 62, of New London and formerly of Groton, entered eternal life Dec. 6, 2025. He was born April 17, 1963, in New London, the son of the late John E. and Virginia (Falconi) Weigel Sr.

John graduated from New London High School and later severed in the U.S. Armed Forces. He was last employed at Mohegan Sun Casino.

He is survived by several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, in St. Mary Cemetery, 600 Jefferson Ave., New London. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with his care.
