Joan Alfiero Obituary

ALFIERO: Joan Alfiero, 90 of New London passed on Nov. 11, 2025. She was born Nov. 27, 1934, in New London the daughter of the late Samuel and Susan (Favolise) Camillucci. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Chapman Technical High School. She was united in marriage to the late Anthony “Tony” Alfiero on June 15, 1957, in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Joan worked as a receptionist at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her son Paul A. Alfiero and fiance Robin Evans. A cousin, Valerie Kelly of Waterford. She was predeceased by a brother Louis Camillucci. All funeral service and interment are private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care.
