Enza Papandrea

PAPANDREA: Enza Papandrea, 63 of Groton, entered eternal life on Oct. 4, 2025, in the company of her beloved husband Vincent. She was born July 29, 1962, in Calabria, Italy, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Nigro) Lombardo. She married Vincent Papandrea on Dec. 27, 1987, in Italy and later moved to the US settling in Groton. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in New London. In addition to Vincent, she is survived by two children. Stephaine Barnhill of Huston, TX and Vittorio Papandrea of Groton. Two grandchildren, Rosalina and Xavia. Her sister Maria Lombardo of Italy and two nephews Marco and Riccardo.  Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. The funeral will assemble on Thursday at 11 am and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm in St. Joseph Church, 149 Montauk Ave., New London. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
