Donna Marie Scott

SCOTT: Donna Marie Scott, 64 of Uncasville, entered eternal life on Dec. 1, 2024, at home in the company of her loving family. She was born Dec. 13, 1959, in New London the daughter of Ronald and Marie (Alves) Hughes, Sr. of Ledyard. She graduated from Ledyard High School and later from the former New London Business School. She married Michael Scott, Sr. on June 9, 1979 in Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Donna currently working at Connecticut College in the Bursar’s Office for the past 32 years until her illness.  Besides her beloved husband Michael of 45 years and parents, she is survived by her son; Michael Scott, Jr. of FL. Grandchildren; Zoe  Huezo, Alexander and Jace Scott, Three siblings; Denise Hughes, Ronald Hughes, Jr. and John Hughes. Stepdaughter, Stephanie Propst. Niece, Emily Turner. Aunts; Dorothy Everett, Beatrice Hardy, Virginia Hughes and Beverly Fryer. Cousins; Susan Cardona, Michelle Lopes, Debra Hardy, Monica Robinson, Kevin and Keith Everett, Stephanie Pearson, Judy Nobles, Ken and Kathy Willoughby and many extended family members.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Scott. Family and friends may gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, 149 Montauk Ave., New London.  Entombment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum. Donations in her memory to donor’s choice of charity. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care.
