Donna F. Payne

PAYNE: Donna F. Payne, 66 of Lebanon and formerly of Waterford, entered eternal life on Nov. 30, 2024, at home in the company of her loving family. She was born April 10, 1958, in New London, the daughter of Patricia (Burvett) Feeney and the late Thomas Feeney, Sr. She attended local schools and graduated from Waterford High School, class of 1976. She was united in marriage to Keith Payne, on April 22, 1978, in St. Joseph Church. Donna worked for the Town of Waterford for 25 years in many departments, last working in the Senior Center, retiring in 2023. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish. Besides her beloved husband Keith of 46 years, and mother, Patricia Feeney of Waterford, she is survived by three children and their spouses; Adrienne and Barry Wolmetz of Canton, Matthew and Danielle Payne of Colchester, Erica and Justin Manchester of Norwich. Two siblings; Janice Godin of Niantic, Thomas and Melanie Feeney, Jr. of Waterford. Six grandchildren who she adored, Hailey, Hannah, Lucas, Jameson, Kensi and Beckett. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. Family and friends can attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 am in St. Joseph Church, 149 Montauk Ave., New London. Interment in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic will be private.
